Sad News: Peter Shalulile Announces Sudden Departure As He..

Namibia surpassed the expectations of many by advancing to the round of sixteen at the Africa Cup of Nations, securing qualification as the best third-placed team from Group E.

However, a significant topic of discussion revolved around Shalulile’s goal drought, considering he was expected to be their primary attacking threat at the tournament.

Defending his teammate, Muzeu said Shalulile shouldn’t be judged on his scoreless campaign as he contributes much more than just goals to the Brave Warriors’ cause

“You know in football you do good, they say all the good things and if you do only one mistake they go behind your back,” Muzeu told

“So Peter, as I know him, the tournament was not good to him but he did what he can do, his best. It is all about trusting in God and he trusted in God and everything went the way it went,” he continued.

“We cannot blame anyone, it is a team sport and he will bounce back. It is just that he could not score. Everyone saw what he was contributing to the team and most people just want goals and they don’t see the bigger picture.

“But all in all, I’d say he had a good tournament and goals will come,” he concluded.
