Dallas Mavericks star Luka Dončić was involved in a minor car accident early this morning in Dallas. According to local authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 8:00 AM when Dončić’s vehicle collided with another car at an intersection.
Fortunately, both Dončić and the other driver sustained only minor injuries and were treated at a nearby hospital. Eyewitnesses reported that Dončić appeared shaken but was in good spirits as he spoke with paramedics.
The Mavericks organization released a statement, assuring fans that Dončić is recovering and should be able to return to practice shortly. “Luka is doing well and is in high spirits. We are grateful that no one was seriously injured,” the statement read.
Dončić, who has been instrumental in the Mavericks’ recent successes, is expected to miss a few days of training but is anticipated to be back in action for the upcoming games.
