For a long time, Kristen Faulkner has been daring to take chances. Promotion Faulkner took one of the biggest risks of her young cycling career on Sunday in the road race at the Olympics in Paris. With 3km remaining, she planned to sail over the top as she crossed to join Lotte Kopecky in the lead duo. She would win an Olympic gold solo if the move paid off. She would complete the podium as the only rider out of the quartet if it crashed and burned.
