Chase Elliott drove one of the 28 cars involved in the massive late crash at Talladega, the biggest accident in the track’s storied history. Moments after it happened, the Hendrick Motorsports driver shared his initial feelings about the historic incident.
“This is honestly comical that we’ve created this right here,” Elliott said over the team radio.
“Yeah, understood,” crew chief Alan Gustafson replied.
