Karoline Striplin has elected to enter the transfer portal, going elsewhere for her final season of eligibility.

She posted a statement on social media confirming her departure from Lady Vols basketball.

“My time at Tennessee has truly been a blessing,” Striplin wrote. “Coach Kellie, thank you for giving me a chance to play on the biggest stage in college basketball. A heartfelt thank you to all of the coaches, managers, support staff, professors and fans who have poured into me over the last three years.”

Striplin averaged 7.2 points and 3.1 rebounds last season, playing 14.4 minutes per game. After starting 28 games during her sophomore season, Striplin started 11 times in her junior campaign. She shot 49.1% from the field.

Striplin scored a season-high 29 points in Tennessee’s loss to Middle Tennessee State in December. She earned a double-double against Troy in November, scoring 19 points and bringing down 14 rebounds. She scored in double digits eight times, with all eight coming in non-conference play.

“With that being said, I am choosing to enter the transfer portal for my senior year to expand my horizons on and off the court,” Striplin wrote. “Once again, thank you to everyone who has been with me over the past three seasons.”
