In response to rumors that the FIA is getting ready to conduct driver trial runs of a cockpit cooling system later this year, Lewis Hamilton has rejected the idea of putting air conditioning in Formula 1 vehicles.
The FIA is reportedly going to test “a simplified air conditioning system” after the grueling 2023 Qatar Grand Prix, according to reports ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Due to the intense heat, Logan Sargeant was forced to retire from the race on Lap 40. Other drivers reported experiencing blackouts and vomiting in cockpits that were approaching 50 degrees Celsius.

Following his podium finish at the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday, Hamilton met with the media and answered questions regarding the impending trial.
