Sad news: Carlos Sainz is fighting for his life ……… Read more

On the first day of the Hungarian Grand Prix, Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc had a good start despite some issues during the two practice sessions. Ferrari only brought one modification to the Hungaroring, but it was a crucial one as the Scuderia expects the SF-24 will finally be able to eliminate the extreme bouncing that has been a hindrance to the team since the Barcelona F1 round, thanks to a redesigned floor. Carlos Sainz led the first practice session at the Hungaroring, finishing over three tenths of a second faster than Max Verstappen, who finished second. But the second practice proved to be more challenging than the first, when Charles Leclerc crashed out of Turn 4 with 44 minutes remaining.
