People talk about Novak 24 grand slams over Federer 20 grand slams and call him GOAT. But forget that what about other records like Federer defending US open 5 times in a row (Novak never defended it even 1 time). Keeping in view the US open is the toughest slam to defend because of being last slam of the year and players being extremely exhausted at that time of the season.
